Star Wars Battlefront

You’ve probably heard about Star Wars Battlefront and how it’s not like the originals. Well, don’t compare or think about the originals. And once you get that out of the way, you realise how much this game wants to take your money. And not in a good way.

Let’s start with the positives. The graphics are beautiful. And when I say beautiful I really mean it. On each and every one of the planets (maps) and characters and weapons and everything looks so realistic. Even the sounds in this game make you truely feel like you’re in a Star Wars movie.

There’s different types of games you can play. You’ve got survival which is my personal favourite, you’ve got hero play where you can play as a goody or a baddy, you can also play droid depot where you have to claim places and then attack the walkers.

The biggest problem people found with this game is that there’s no single player campaign which was a big part of the originals (luckily they’re bringing it back for the sequel). And also how a lot of the game is paid for dlc, which includes new heroes and planets. Also if you don’t have multiplayer (which you have to pay for on PS4 & Xbox) then there’s not that much at all to do in this game. You can have ship battles but as I said the best and funnest part of the game is the multiplayer.

If you don’t have any friends to play with split screen or multiplayer then there’s no point in getting this game, just hold out for the second game. There is a nice free dlc for the Playstation VR.
